new things

Caroline is now laughing. She kind of coughs when she laughs. Coughing is her signature sound. She coughs when she cries, and now when she laughs. She also does not like to lay down like a baby anymore when she is being held. It is only upright or sitting like a big girl on your lap. She likes to look around and watch Diego being crazy! She likes when I say goo goo gaa gaa to her. She thinks it is funny. She might be laughing at me thinking, "Why are you talking like that?"

Here are some 4th of July pictures at the Lake of the Ozarks. My mom, Diego, and Caroline wanted to be festive. We had a good time down there. It was cloudy most of the time, so it was perfect for Caroline's first trip to the lake.

ok, ok, a little behind on the posts. Here are some pictures from the baptism awhile ago. One of my dad sleeping at the baptism, would you expect anything else? A picture of Ian and me with Caroline's godparents, Jane and Mark my aunt and uncle. Also a picture of Leighanne and her baby. We could not get everyone to look in the right direction at the same time. We all had a good time.
